About Us
The Canadian Chapter of the Society of Flight Test Engineers objectives coincide with Article II of the Constitution of the Society of Flight Test Engineers and its membership includes SFTE members based across Canada.
The Chapter was established in 2013 by flight test professionals involved with Bombardier Flight Test but experienced very low activities. In 2017 the Chapter was reinvigorated and in 2022 the Chapter hosted a very successful Annual SFTE Symposium in London ON. Since then, the Chapter activities and membership numbers have significantly increased.
The Chapter hosts a full schedule of events for our members, commonly including a Technical Symposium, where members give presentations or talks of interest to the membership; Social events, where members gather socially to mingle and share flight test stories; Tours and other special events; and the Chapter’s annual business meeting at the end of each calendar year.
